Cole Mitchell Sprouse & Dylan Thomas Sprouse (born August 4, 1992) are American identical twin brother actors. They are collectively referred to Cole & Dylan, the Sprouse Bros., or the Sprouse Twins, and are known for their roles in the film Big Daddy, as Patrick Kelly in Grace Under Fire, Ross's son Ben on Friends (played by Cole), and for portraying the title characters on the Disney Channel series The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and soon will be seen on The Suite Life on Deck which premiers September 26, 2008. As a result of the series' success, they have become "heartthrobs"[1] and "overwhelming draws"[2] among preteen and teen audiences.

The Sprouses were born in Arezzo, Italy, to American parents Matthew Sprouse and Melanie Wright, who at the time were teaching at an English language school in Italy. Dylan, named after poet Dylan Thomas,[3] is 15 minutes older than Cole,[4] who is named for jazz singer and pianist Nat King Cole.[5] The twins moved back to the United States, four months after their birth. They grew up in their parents' native Long Beach, California. Their parents divorced in 1997.[6]

After a suggestion by their grandmother, Jonine Booth Wright, who was a drama teacher and actress, the Sprouses began acting at the age of six months. The twosome first appeared in a commercial for toilet paper switching on-screen time every few seconds. As with many identical twin actors, the two have often played the same role, allowing more time for the character to be filmed. Starting when they were only six months old, the two starred on the ABC-TV series Grace Under Fire from 1993 to 1998, playing one character, Patrick Kelly.
In 1999, the twins appeared in their first major feature film, Big Daddy, in which they shared a role of a five-year old boy named 'Julian' who is adopted by Adam Sandler's character 'Sonny Koufax'. That year, the twins collaborated with Sandler on the second and third versions of The Chanukah Song (Dylan and The Drei-Dels in Part 3 and Cole in Part 2), and the twins also had a minor role in the thriller The Astronaut's Wife. The Sprouses have noted that after Big Daddy's release, the two entered into a slow period in their careers and were not cast in any major roles for a time.[1] During the early 2000s, the twins appeared in episodes of the The Nightmare Room and That '70s Show, as well as in MADtv: Season Four (1998-1999) (episode #425) and the feature films The Master of Disguise and a voice-over role in Adam Sandler's Eight Crazy Nights. In 2001, Cole started appearing in episodes of the television show Friends, as Ross Geller's son Ben. Many people think it was a shared role, however their web site and other credible sources specify that Dylan did not appear in any episodes.
Between the years of 2002 and 2003, the two starred in I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus and Just for Kicks, both of which were family films that received a direct-to-video release. The Sprouses were subsequently cast in the Disney Channel original series The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, where they play identical twins Zack (Dylan) and Cody (Cole) Martin . The series, which debuted in March 2005, has become a ratings success[1] and the twins have become very well known among pre-teen and teen audiences. As part of their involvement with Disney, the brothers are now part of the 11-member group, the Disney Channel Circle of Stars, and sang the song A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes along with the members of the circle, for a video that was released as bonus material in the special edition version of the Disney film Cinderella. The Sprouses have also participated in the Disney Channel Games every year since 2006.
The Sprouses played one character, Jeremiah, in the independent film The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things, which was produced in 2004 but not given a theatrical release until March 2006, when it played in a total of three theatres across the United States, ultimately grossing $29,000 domestically.[7] In November 2006, the two began filming the Sony Pictures film The Prince and the Pauper, which also starred Sally Kellerman, Ed Lauter and Dedee Pfeiffer, in Palm Beach, Florida; filming had begun in October and ended by December.[8] The Prince and the Pauper came out on DVD on February 5th, 2008. The two also lent their voices to a movie called Holidaze: The Christmas That Almost Didn't Happen, which also features the voices of fellow Disney Channel stars Brenda Song and Emily Osment.[9] Dylan also played the voice of Shasta in Disney's "Snow Buddies." As of late November 2007, they are filming a new movie called Kings of Appletown which is based on Tom Sawyer. It is directed by Bobby Moresco and written by Amanda Moresco. Also starring in it is Victoria Justice from Nickelodeon's Zoey 101.[10] It is being filmed in New Braunfels, TX and is estimated to be released around Christmas 2008.[11]

In September 2005, the Sprouses signed a licensing agreement with Dualstar Entertainment to create a new commercial brand, entitled "Sprouse Bros", which will include DVD movies, CDs, clothing, sports gear, video games, ring tones and deodorants[1] targeted towards preteen and teen audiences. Dualstar has partnered with Leisure Publishing LLC to create a magazine called Sprouse Bros. Code, which will target boys ages 8-14 with a guide on recent trends favored by the Sprouses; Cole Sprouse has stated that the magazine will appeal to "people who are our age and boys. We don't want anything too girlie",[12] while Dylan has said that it will have "something that will appeal to everybody".[13] The first issue became available on July 18, 2006.[14]
In September 2006, the Sprouse brothers, represented by Dualstar Entertainment, signed a book deal with Simon Spotlight, a publishing company, to release a spy book series that will utilize the "Sprouse Bros." brand. The book series, which was scheduled for release in the summer of 2007, has been described by the publisher as featuring the Sprouses as "young James Bonds or undercover agents".[15]
In June 2007, Simon & Schuster Inc. published the first two volumes of Sprouse Bros. 47 R.O.N.I.N. The series is about 15-year-old twin brothers Tom and Mitch (the Sprouses' middle names) who learn that their father and live-in butler are members of a rogue crime-fighting organization, R.O.N.I.N., which dates back to feudal Japan; that their father is in danger; and that they have just been recruited to join their father's clan.[16]

Dylan Sprouse has stated that the experience of coming to fame after the success of The Suite Life of Zack & Cody is "kind of scary, how fast everything is moving. Just a year ago none of this was happening, it was just doing 'Suite Life,' and now I can't wait for what's in store..."[12] While filming The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, the two received on-set tutoring for three hours each day,[1] and claimed to be getting "straight As and honors".[3] According to the J-14 August 2007 edition, the last girl dylan had dated was Miley Cyrus after she guest starred on The Suite Life.
The Sprouses enjoy skateboarding, snowboarding, surfing, basketball and motocrossing,[5] as well as working on drawing a comic strip, The Adventures of Tibblebu and Thumbin, based on a stuffed animal of Cole's.[17] Cole Sprouse's favorite school subjects are mathematics and science; he names The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time as his favorite video game and Forrest Gump and Godzilla as the films he likes the most.[4] Dylan prefers history, dislikes mathematics, and enjoys playing the video games Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Brawl; his favorite film is Napoleon Dynamite.[4] The twins have a dog named Bubba and a new dog Called Currey,[5] and their favorite actor and co-star is Adam Sandler.[4]
According to a May 2006 interview with Mad Kids magazine, the Sprouses do not speak Italian,[4] despite incorrect reports to the contrary:[18]
Cole says: "I can't say anything in Italian. "Pizza, per favore [sic]" maybe?"
Dylan says: "...I don't really speak Italian except for "spaghetti", "Italian ice" (Yum!), and "Ferrari".

Rihanna was born in Saint Michael, Barbados, to Ronald Fenty of Barbados[7] (of African and Irish ancestry)[8][9] and Monica Fenty, who is of Guyanese descent.[10][11] She has two younger brothers, Rorrey and Rajad Fenty. Rihanna went to Charles F. Broome Memorial School, a primary school in Barbados, and then on to the Combermere School, where she formed a musical trio with two of her classmates. In 2004, she won the Miss Combermere Beauty Pageant and performed in the Colours of Combermere School Show. At the age of 15, Rihanna received her big break when one of her friends introduced her to music producer Evan Rogers, who was vacationing in Barbados with his wife. Rogers, along with his partner, Carl Sturken, helped Rihanna record material in the U.S. which was sent to various recording companies. One copy of Rihanna's work was sent to Jay-Z, who eventually signed her to Def Jam Recordings. Rihanna cites Brandy, Beyoncé Knowles, Madonna, Mariah Carey, Bob Marley and her Caribbean background as major musical influences.[12][13][14] Rihanna also stated in an interview that her friend and former Island Def Jam record label artist Fefe Dobson was someone that she admired and looked up to, having a fellow artist writing, singing, and performing the music she truly loves.[15][16][17]

Rihanna's debut album, Music of the Sun, was released on August 30, 2005, yielding two singles, the first being "Pon de Replay" which was released on August 22, 2005. This single became a huge success upon its release peaking at number 2 in the US on Billboard Hot 100 charts.[18] It also became a global hit where it peaked within the top 10 across 15 countries as well as achieving top 20 chartings on 20 charts around the world.[19] The single written by Carl Sturken, Evan Rogers and Rihanna was described by Rolling Stone magazine as a "poppy piece of dancehall reggae with slapping, syncopated beats recalling big-band jazz."[20] The second single "If It's Lovin' That You Want" was less successful than "Pon de Replay", but it became a hit nonetheless by managing to achieve a top 40 charting in the USA reaching a high of number 36. In Australia, Ireland and New Zealand the single proved to be well-received reaching the top 10 in those countries. Overall the single became a top 40 hit on 11 charts around the globe. Despite the album not having huge promotion and only releasing two singles Music of the Sun managed to sell over 500,000 copies in the United States and 2 million worldwide.[21]
Rihanna second album, A Girl like Me, was released in April 2006; less than eight months after the release of her first album. The lead single, "SOS", was used in an endorsement deal with Nike. The song became Rihanna's first number-one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart; it also debuted at number one on the Hot Digital Songs chart. "SOS" peaked at number one in Australia and number two in the UK. The second single, entitled "Unfaithful", was written by R&B singer Ne-Yo. The song became her third top ten hit in the U.S. and in the UK. The third single, "We Ride", wasn't as successful as her previous releases, failing to chart on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, however, it became her fifth UK top 20 single, where it peaked at number 17 on that chart and peaked at number one on the U.S. Hot Dance Club Play chart. Rihanna's fourth single from the album, "Break It Off" featuring Sean Paul, had already climbed to number 45 on the Billboard Hot 100 based solely on airplay. A Girl like Me's sales were significantly stronger, selling 1.2 million in the U.S and over 3.5 million worldwide.[22][23][24]
In total, Rihanna has had 11 #1's on the Billboard charts and has had major success on the Hot Dance Club Play chart with four number-ones ("Pon De Replay", "SOS", "Unfaithful", and "We Ride"). When Rihanna received an endorsement deal from Clinique, she recorded a song written by Ne-Yo entitled "Just Be Happy" as part of the deal to promote their Happy fragrance. Rihanna also recorded a song called "Winning Women" with Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger for P&G’s female deodorant Secret.
During this time Rihanna also made her acting debut in a cameo role in Bring It On: All or Nothing, which was released on August 8, 2006.

Rihanna went into the studio in early 2007 with Ne-Yo, Stargate, and Timbaland among others to record her third album, Good Girl Gone Bad. The album was released on June 5, 2007, features Jay-Z and Ne-Yo. Rihanna worked with Timbaland on three songs in the album. Justin Timberlake co-wrote and provides background vocals on "Rehab".[25]
The album so far has yielded five hit singles, including the world-wide number one hit "Umbrella", featuring Jay-Z. In addition to reaching number one in various countries, "Umbrella" was the number one single in the UK for 10 consecutive weeks, making it the longest running UK number one single since Wet Wet Wet's single "Love Is All Around", back in 1994, and the longest running number one by a female artist since Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You", which also topped the chart for 10 weeks in 1992. By the end of the year, "Umbrella" was ranked second on the Billboard Hot 100 year-end chart in the United States;[26] however, due to the song's world-wide chart dominance it was named the most successful song in the world for 2007, getting 8,160,000 points on the United World Chart.[27]
Her other singles, "Shut Up and Drive" and "Don't Stop The Music" were able to mirror the success of "Umbrella", with "Don't Stop The Music" reaching number three on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Rihanna's seventh top ten single and her fourth top five hit, while peaking at number one in various countries, including the United World Chart. The fourth single "Hate That I Love You", featuring Ne-Yo, was able to peak at number seven in the U.S.
Starting September 12, 2007, Rihanna toured Canada and the United States in support of the album with several shows and then crossed to Europe. The tour was called called the Good Girl Gone Bad Tour, and it will be released on DVD in early 2008, featuring the show performed at the Manchester Evening News Arena on December 6 2007.
Rihanna premiered a new single, "Take a Bow", on KIIS-FM's On Air with Ryan Seacrest. The song will be backed by the re-issue of her third album, titled Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded, which will be released on June 17, 2008.[28] It has so far peaked at number one on the Hot 100 and on the UK Music Charts.

Rihanna kaže da ju je slava učinila usamljenom i nesretnom. Uspjeh joj je postao bolan kada se suočila s mračnom stranom slave.

"Slava je usamljenost. U početku sam bila puna adrenalina. Bilo je to ostvarenje sna. Tada mi nije smetalo što sam sama i što nisam s ljudima koje volim. Ali to se stalno ponavljalo i tada sam shvatila: 'Opet sjedim u hotelskoj sobi, samo ja i televizor'", požalila se mlada pjevačica.

"U ovom su poslu ljudi plitki i nepošteni. Ne možeš im vjerovati. Uvijek sam s lakoćom čitala ljude. Kada dođem u kontakt s nekim, uvijek u početku samo sjedim i šutim. Sjedim i promatram. Prelijepa pjevačica sa poznatim hitovima kao što su "Pon De Replay" i "Unfaithul". Uvijek joj je davao prijateljske savjete i bio uz nju, pa ga je čak prozvala i "drugim tatom". A sada je odjednom neželjeni gost na njegovom vjenčanju. Rihanna je bila van sebe kada je iz novina saznala vijest o vjenčanju Jay-Z-ja i Beyonce: "To je bio veliki šok! Ništa mi o tome nisu rekli!", ljutito govori RiRi. "Osjećala se potpuno odbačeno", otkrio nam je insajder. Ko je glavni krivac za to? Beyonce! Ona je od početka bila ljubomorna na mlađu i, trenutno uspešniju kolegicu. Prije svega, zato što joj je Jay-Z posvetio mnogo pažnje. Trougao Jay-Z, Beyonce i Rihanna već odavno je top-tema u krugu poznatih. Dilema glasi: da li je Jay-Z imao nešto sa Rihannom? Da li Rihanna želi rastaviviti par iz snova? Pretpostavki je bilo mnogo. Činjenica je da je Rihanna stajala između Jay-Z-ja i Beyonce i da se dvije djevojke nikako nisu podnosile. To je postalo očigledno i na dodjeli Grammy nagrada u februaru u Los Angelesu. Kada je Rihanna primila nagradu za numeru "Umbrella", njen zajednički hit sa Jay-Z-jem, ona mu se od radosti bacila u zagrljaj. I to je uradila Beyonce pred nosom. Očigledno za njega više ne dolazi u obzir da sa Rihannom ide na turneje. Ups! Bol i razočarenje uočiljivi su na Rihanninom licu. Možda je njen novi singl "Take A Bow" (pojavio se 9. svibnja) oproštajna pjesma od Jay-Z-ja. Vjerujemo joj svaku riječ kada pjeva: "You put on quite a show, really got me goin', but now it's time to go" ('Priredio si mi pravi show koji me pokrenuo, ali sada odbij!"). Ako već ne razgovaraju u stvarnom životu, makar mogu da se svađaju u pjesmama...heh..

Nakon što je debitirala ulogom u filmu 'Bring It On: All Or Nothing' reditelja Stevea Reshua, u kojem se radnja vrši oko navijačica, Rihanna se ponovo upustila u glumu i 'napada' filmska platna. Film u kojem će RiRi glumiti zove se 'Mama Black Widow', a snimat će se prema noveli afroameričkog pisca Iceberg Slima. Film će prikazivati afroameričku porodicu koja migrira iz južnog izoliraanog Mississipija u getoizirni crni svijet Chicaga 30-ih godina prošlog stoljeća. Nikada nisam upoznala slavnu osobu, a upoznati slavnu osobu koja je usto i predsjednik diskografske kuće, to je bilo ludo!' priča oduševljena Rihanna, koja je do danas imala prilike itekako ispuniti svoj vizualni herbarij licima celebrityja s kojima je zatulumarila kao uspješna mlada pop zvijezda.

Teen: Zašto misliš da je tako cool biti cura?
Rihanna: Djevojke lakše govore o svojim osjećajima, istodobno mogu raditi više poslova, npr. dok pišem zadaće, telefoniram s prijateljicom i pregledavam fotke. U tome bi se dečki trebali ugledati na djevojke! Stvarno sam ponosna jer vjerujem da su cure jače od dečki (ne mislim fizički), duhovno možemo izdržati puno više. Stvarni život to potvrđuje.

Teen: Kome je lakše u životu, dečkima ili curama? Misliš li da lijepe cure bolje prolaze od manje lijepih?
Rihanna:Upravo zato što kao žensko dobro izgledaš često privlačiš nevolje i teže zadobivaš poštovanje koje zaslužuješ. Moraš se dvostruko više zalagati i dvostruko više raditi, a dečki te i dalje gledaju uz komentar "Dobra je ta mala!" To užasno frustrura.

Teen: Poznata si po tome da brzo ostvaruješ svoje ciljeve. Otkud ti tolika snaga?
Rihanna: Mama je izvor moje snage. Naučila me da u svakoj situaciji moram izdržati i da iz svega trebam izvući najbolje. Mama je moj uzor.

Teen: Izjavila si da voliš dečke jer se i od njih ponešto može naučiti. Zašto ih još voliš?
Rihanna: Dečki su prva liga. Koješta možemo naučiti od njih, prije svega ne tračaju kao djevojke i nemaju česte napade ljubomore. Da budem iskrena, u posljednje vrijeme više se volim družiti sa suprotnim spolom. Lakše se opustiti, jednostavniji su.

Teen: Kad smatraš da su dečki toliko cool, bi li mogla zamisliti da si muško na jedan dan?
Rihanna: Naravno, zašto ne?! Dogovorila bih sastanke s curama, isprobala ekstremne sportove i još neke ludosti. Ali idući dan opet bih se voljela probuditi kao djevojka sa svim oblinama...

Teen: Kad već spominješ obline, kako si se nosila s promjenama na svom tijelu koje donosi odrastanje?
Rihanna: S oduševljenjem sam pratila promjene iz dana u dan, narasle su mi grudi, a imam i guzu, i bokovi su tu - konačno dobro izgledam u odjeći. Teško riječima mogu opisati sreću i uzbuđenje izazvano promjenama. I još uvijek na određenim mjestima rastem! Tome će se neki dečki zasigurno veseliti.

Teen: Želiš li nešto poručiti teenovkama?
Rihanna: Naravno. Cure, uživajte u životu punim plućima, veselite se, onako neopterećeno kako samo vi znate. Ne dopustite da vas itko uvjeri da nečemu niste dorasle. Super je biti cura, svaka od vas je posebna - ne zaboravite to!!!

U kinima igra nastavak plesnog hita »Step up« koji prati buntovnu uličnu plesačicu Andie Gage, članicu skupine »410 crew« koja svoje vrijeme provodi plešući i zabavljajući se s prijateljima. Njen brat Tyler zna da mu je sestra iznimno talentirana plesačica te je prijavljuje na audiciju u »Maryland School of Arts« (MSA), gdje će moći razviti svoju strast prema plesu do punog potencijala. Uz pomoć Chasea, kojeg upoznaje na audiciji, upada u MSA te tada saznaje da je on najpopularniji dečko u školi i da je njegov brat novi ravnatelj. Andie je pomalo buntovna djevojka navikla na ples, glazbu i pokrete ulice pa nije ni čudo da se nije baš najbolje snašla na svom prvom satu plesa kad je zadatak bio improvizacija. Iako se osramotila, Chaseu je za oko zapao njezin potencijal. Zato se udružuje s najboljim plesačem škole kako bi sudjelovali na uličnom plesnom turniru u Baltimoreu nazvanom The Streets. To natjecanje spaja njena dva naizgled razdvojena svijeta.

Film koji obiluje modernim plesnim koreografijama prikazuje priču o mladoj djevojci koja je u potrazi za obitelji i sigurnoj sredini. Teško joj je ostati svojom i prihvaćati zapovijedi od autoriteta. Kad sluša zapovijedi od nadređenih više ne pripada svojoj ekipi do koje joj je jako stalo. Jer upravo joj društvo daje toplinu koja joj je potrebna. Međutim kad se čovjek i najmanje nada te upozna novu sredinu stekne nove prijatelje i ljubav. Cijeli život je zapravo jedna velika promjena u kojoj se čini kad je najljepše sve nekako propadne, ali to opet nanovo prođe i postane opet lijepo.

Hoffman was born in Gainesville, Florida, the son of Charlotte and Robert Hoffman, and moved with his family to Madison, Alabama when he was seven. He has one younger brother, Chris, and two younger sisters, Ashley and Lauren. He discovered his passion for dancing after seeing Michael Jackson's Thriller. He briefly attended Alabama School of Fine Arts. He made his acting debut in 2003, on an episode of the television series American Dreams. He had minor roles as a dancer in several films, including From Justin to Kelly, Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights, Coach Carter and You Got Served, for which he shared an American Choreographer Award. Hoffman has worked as a dancer with Christina Aguilera, Usher, Mýa, Marilyn Manson, Ricky Martin and Svetlana, serving as his dance double in a music video. He has also written, directed, and starred in several short skits, most notably Kinetsu Hayabusa: the urban ninja, in which he dresses in a black ninja outfit and performs stunts around a city (to the fright of passers by).[1][2] The name Hayabusa is a reference to the Hayabusa ninja clan of the Ninja Gaiden games. These skits have garnered him a large fan following.

He appeared in the TV show Quintuplets and was a cast member on the FOX drama Vanished. Hoffman's first major film role is in the 2006 comedy, She's the Man, starring Amanda Bynes and Channing Tatum, the latter with whom he is good friends. He was also a castmember on MTV's Wild 'N Out, and appeared as a guest on America's Next Top Model. In 2008, he starred in the film Step Up 2 the Streets as Chase Collins, a dancer at the Maryland School of the Arts. He will also co-star in the movie They Came from Upstairs with Ashley Tisdale.
